Public Talks is designed to assist talk coordinators. It is very easy to maintain congregation and speaker data and prepare schedules.
This app has the task of simplifying the work of those who have to keep records of public talks and visiting speakers and those who have to go out. It has a database to store the data of the various congregations or groups of their own circuit or district.
Also it allows you to search which talks were made in the past and which speaker is used.

Not worth it
After working with ta1ks sofware, you expect a lot from a PTC program... That app at the stage it is... Totaly useless unless you want to put all the info manually every time... No database link, no calendar, no schedule to print, no date value fieled... Not worth it at all... Desapointed that i spent the $$$ for it
This app dos not do much!
The app does nothing more than grab the information that you put and can not handle data of speakers and choose those who you want to accommodate. You have to write all the names, email and phones although you have them in your contacts. Dont waste your money here... Waiting for a good update or a new app...
Frustrating
Good idea, but it doesnt really help coordinate much. It doesnt do much more for you than what you can do with details you enter in contacts. Hopefully updates are coming that make it more useful.
Not a true schedule aide
I am assuming that this is an early release of a work in progress. Way too limited. Frankly using the builtin calendar, with a spreadsheet or the official PDF talk lists and a copy of Adobe Reader will allow you to do more at this time. Ask me on the t-tools group at yahoogroups and I can explain. Patrick
